Florence Jung distributed this advertisement in Sion at the beginning of March. One of the people who answered it – a tired, freelance person – is paid to sleep an hour longer than usual every day for the duration of the exhibition. An alarm clock rings in the exhibition space at the agreed time every morning.
Florence Jung lives and works in Paris and Biel (CH). Her works can be seen regularly in solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad. Her most recent works are a the literary experiment Sam, which can be experienced on a smartphone, and the long-term project New Office, which she exhibited in 2022 at the Swiss Design Awards, at unanimous consent in Zurich, at the New Galerie, Paris and at the Helmhaus Zurich, among others.
