Every two years, an international outdoor exhibition with a changing focus on the latest trends in Land and Environmental Art takes place in the Safiental (Grisons, Switzerland). After New Land Art (2016), Horizontal – Vertical (2018) and Analog – Digital (2020), and Learning from the Earth (2022). The theme for 2022 is: What if? Songs from Tomorrowlands. Around 15 national and international artists create temporary works related to the theme, in dialogue with the landscape and mostly in outdoor spaces. The works are distributed throughout the entire Safiental (25km in length, 150km² in area) and can be visited for about four months a year. Among the more than 60 contributors to previous editions are von Lita Albuquerque, Ursula Biemann, Julius von Bismarck, James Bridle, Bob Gramsma, Ingeborg Lüscher, !Mediengruppe Bitnik, Raumlabor, Analia Saban, Roman Signer, Steiner/Lenzlinger, Ben Vautier and many others.
